Inspiring transformative change through art
The KDA Creative Corps grant enabled the Stage View Performing Arts Foundation to implement a year-long project, “Our World, Our Stage” that positively impacted communities with scores lower than 20% on the Economic and Racial Justice indicators of the Healthy Places Index. The campaign focused on engaging the community, aiming to increase exposure to the arts, physical activity, and improved mental health.
The foundation expanded its team by hiring four dance artist educators and four professional choreographers. It also awarded scholarships to 125 dance artists, allowing them to showcase their talent in two complimentary professional shows and participate in four community workshops.
 With a mission focused on empowerment and upliftment, the Stage View Performing Arts Foundation uses the transformative power of performing arts to bring about positive change in the lives of individuals and communities. One of their main goals was to inspire creativity among individuals who may not have had the opportunity to explore their artistic passions otherwise.

Stage View Performing Arts is committed to ensuring that its programs are accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status or ability. Through donations and grants like the KDA Creative Corps’, the foundation is able to provide scholarships and job opportunities for dance artists.
