Lamont Boys & Girls Club Hosting Earth Day Fair Includes the premiere of “The Air We Breathe” Organized by: Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County

The Lamont Boys & Girls Club will host an Earth Day Fair on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices. One of the highlights of the Earth Day Fair is the community screening of “The Air We Breathe.” This locally produced short film is a testament to the Lamont Club Teen Program’s advocacy efforts for air quality improvement. This activity is supported in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, and Kern Dance Alliance, a nonprofit corporation. Learn more at kdacreativecorps.org.

Lamont Boys & Girls Club Teens Present Second Community Showing of “The Air We Breathe” Organized by: Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County

The Lamont Boys & Girls Club Teen Program’s second community screening of “The Air We Breathe” will be on April 25, 2024, at the David Head Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This locally produced short film is a testament to the teen program’s advocacy efforts for air quality improvement. Attendees are invited to participate in the post-screening Q&A panel, where they can share their thoughts and insights.
